LA Weekly has revealed that this year’s edition of the free Scion Rock Fest will take place in Southern California on March 5th in the city of Pomona. The very metal event will feature headliner MORBID ANGEL (who have only performed a very select few shows in the U.S. over the past six years).

The fest will take over the neighboring Fox Theater and Glass House and will be additionally be equipped with two outdoor stages. Approximately 25 bands will perform at the day long fest, which took place in Colombus, OH and Atlanta, GA in past years.
