BURZUM’s Varg Vikernes (a.k.a. Count Grishnack) has been sentenced to an additional 14 months in prison as a result of his failed escape from prison last October. He was charged with car theft and posession of an AG3 automatic rifle and 700 bullets.
Vikernes, who is serving a 21-year prison sentence in Norway for the infamous 1993 murder of MAYHEM’s Øystein Aarseth (a.k.a. Euronymous), had his sentenced reduced to 14 months from 22 after the court determined there was little evidence that Vikernes threatened a family with a pistol during the carjacking.
