ANTHRAX have announced that they’ve officially secured a deal with Sanctuary Records Group and have set May 6th as the release of their new album, We’ve Come For You All. The new deal follows the failed union between the band and Artist Direct, who were originally supposed to release the album in the states.
We’ve Come For You All is ANTHRAX’s first studio album in five years and first to feature new guitarist Rob Caggiano. The album also features a few special guests including THE WHO’s Roger Daltrey and PANTERA’s Dimebag Darrell.
“It definitely sounds like ANTHRAX, and there are elements from our earlier albums. Creatively, we’re on top of our game. We really pushed ourselves,” says drummer Charlie Benante. “In the late ’80s, we were pigeonholed into just doing thrash metal. The past couple of years, we’ve decided to take more chances with our music. On this record, I handled the majority of the music. [Guitarist,] Scott [Ian] wrote more lyrics than [singer] John [Bush] this time around, and [bassist] Frank [Bello] came up with some really good melodies.”
The official tracklisting is as follows:
“Contact”
“What Doesn’t Die”
“Superhero”
“Refuse to Be Denied”
“Safe Home”
“Any Place But Here”
“Nobody Knows Anything”
“Strap It On”
“Black Dahlia”
“Cadillac Rock Box”
“Taking The Music Back”
“Crash”
“Think About An End”
“W.C.F.Y.A.”
The band will hit the road for a European tour in March and return for a U.S. tour in May with MOTORHEAD.
