Southern California’s AS HOPE DIES have announced that they will be disbanding following a final round of shows. The band posted the following statement on their official website:
“AS HOPE DIES will officially be disbanding later this year. Over the last few years we have had an amazing time doing this band writing, recording, and touring has all been fuckin great! And now I’m very sad to say that it’s already over. Certain members in the band do not like the lifestyle of a touring band, and want more stability in there lives (being smashed in a van for a month and a half is rough on anyone). A core member has decided to leave and pursue other things, and it just does not feel right to do this band without him so we have decided to call it quits. I want to thank everyone who has ever helped us out on tour by booking a show, making us food, letting us sleep on there floor, or just being fuckin cool to us, thank you everyone for the support!!!”
