BATHORY mastermind Quorthon has died of apparent heart failure on June 7th in his home in Stockholm, Sweden. He was 39 years old. Arguably the father of black metal, Quorthon carved the the path for all others to follow with BATHORY’s birth in the early 80’s. We at APESHIT send out our condolences to this largely unsung legend.
