Here’s an update straight from the band:

“CATTLE DECAPITATION have ‘parted ways’ with drummer David Astor due to inability to live up to the obligations of touring and regular necessities of the band… so we ate him. He has been replaced by Michael Laughlin. You may know of him from the band CREATION IS CRUCIFIXION. The band is currently writing vigorously and rehearsing the old songs as well as new ones for the upcoming onslaught of tours that are already in the works. Expect to see us VERY SOON.”

In other news, the band will be entering the studio near the end of the month to record a new track for the upcoming Metal Blade compilation, Uncorrupted Steel 2. This will be everyone’s first chance to hear the insane drumming of Michael Laughlin.
