CONVERGE have added two headlining shows on off-dates of their current tour in support of MASTODON:
9/17 - St. Louis, MO @ Creepy Crawl 9/27 - Anaheim, CA @ Chain Reaction (w/ LIFE LONG TRAGEDY, THE MISTAKE)
The band have also posted a quick note from the road on said MASTODON tour on their official website:
“The tour started off with the same irony, aggravation that most tours start up with. Then we added a blown trailer tire to the mix. We fixed that and things started looking up when van electrical problems came and went. This ended with us taking apart the dashboard, replacing things we knew nothing about, and (somehow) putting it back together. The good news is that we have headlights that stay on now and tires that have air in them now, so that’s a good thing. Aside from that, tour with MASTODON and THE BRONX is killer. Both bands and crew are great. Watching both those bands everyday is just unreal. We’ve seen some old friends and new faces at these shows, and that has been awesome. We’ve also been playing new songs every night (two or three depending on the evening), and that’s been feeling good as well.”
CONVERGE’s new album, No Heroes, is set for an October 24th release through Epitaph Records. The band plan to shoot a video in Los Angeles in the coming weeks with director Ryan Zunkley.
