ELLIOTT have announced that they are calling it quits. Having recently released Song In The Air and returned from a very successful Japanese tour, ELLIOTT agreed on one last European tour followed by a final tour in the States. It has yet to be stated whether or not the tour will be a full U.S. tour but the first batch of dates found are listed below.
Here is the official statement from the band:
“Over the past eight years all who have made ELLIOTT what it is today have seen many things change. We’ve grown along with our audience and have evolved finally to our mature form. To be true to what the band and its members have stood by, (art, creation and understanding of human nature and its connection with music) it’s time for ELLIOTT to come to an end. We must do this to allow the same mindset that drove the band to drive each of us individually in our separate lives. There will be more updates than usual on our site, photographs and stories about the last few U.S. tours. And the great time we had in Japan. Keep a look out for information on the European tour that is booked this fall. And a hand full of shows in the U.S. in November.”
