EXTOL recently embarked on a U.S. tour with DEMON HUNTER and THE AGONY SCENE that has been extremely successful thus far. Christer Espevoll (guitars) recently checked in with the following tour update:
“We’ve been on the road now for about 2 weeks now. Tonight we played Witchita, Kansas. Most of the shows have been really good, but some of the shows were extremely good. Like the one we played in Corona, CA a few days ago. The place was more than packed and the crowd was insane. The whole show was insane. I would also like to mention Tacoma, WA and Sacramento, CA, both sold out shows with great crowds. Touring with DEMON HUNTER and THE AGONY SCENE has been a pleasure… really nice guys.
“Tomorrow night we’re expecting another sold out show at The Door in Dallas TX, and the day after tomoroow we’re playing Little Rock with LIVING SACRIFICE (one of their last shows ever). Then after the weekend we’re heading to Cornerstone Festival where we’ll play twice and have some time to relax. We have been debuting lots of material from our new album, Synergy, and the reaction to it has been phenominal. There has been a lot of driving, driving and driving. Kind of boring, but ok with a good book and a disc man. We look forward to meeting all of you great fans and we plan on heading back to the U.S. very soon.”
EXTOL’s third full-length album, Synergy, is set for an August 12th release.
