NAPALM DEATH bassist, Shane Embury, has confirmed the participation of former CARCASS frontman, Jeff Walker, on a track from NAPALM DEATH’s forthcoming new album, tentatively titled The Code Is Red…Long Live The Code. Embury posted the following announcement on the band’s official website:

“Hi there…another late night in the studio and there’s not long to go now untill the mix of the album is finished. We are already a third of the way through and approaching the finish line fast. We had a great day yesterday as one of our old friends Jeff Walker of CARCASS came down for a spot of singing and, well, it was a also a chance to catch up as we hadn’t really seen him for awhile. He put some vocals down to a song called “Pledge Yourself to You”, which turned out great. You can hear Jeff’s distinctive style alongside Barney [Greenway]’s and we think it works well. Well off to bed now to get ready for more grinding tomorrow. Bye for now..Shane”
