Savannah sludge rockers, KYLESA, will be back on the road on the East Coast this spring to continue supporting 2005’s critically-acclaimed, To Walk A Middle Course. Landing on a handful of year-end lists, the band will take that buzz on the road alongside a variety of other acts including MUNICIPAL WASTE, BARONESS, VICTIMS, and labelmates, YAKUZA. More dates will be announced as they are confirmed.
Last month, KYLESA settled on a replacement for the band’s vacant drummer position: two of them. “Since the dawn of KYLESA, it was our intention to have two drummers but at the time it didn’t pan out,” the band says. “Finally, after 5 years it has become a reality and two new members have been added to play drums: Jeff Porter from Detroit and Carl McGinley of Savannah (who also drums for THE UNPERSONS). We feel that this is our strongest line up as of yet and new and old songs are coming along great.” KYLESA is currently writing material for the follow-up to the band’s Prosthetic debut, To Walk A Middle Course.
