LAMB OF GOD’s new album, Ashes Of The Wake, is set to hit stores August 31st via their new label, Epic Reocrds. The album, produced by Machine (WHITE ZOMBIE, CLUTCH), features guest appearances by Chris Poland (MEGADETH) and Alex Skolnick (TESTAMENT).

Drummer Chris Adler recently posted the following update on the album: “The tracking sessions have been very intense and the vibe in the studio is exciting to say the least. My drum tracks were done in Jersey in May and Randy [Blythe] (vocals) is done as of today. It’s been a giant sonic puzzle and as Willie [Adler] (guitars), Mark [Morton] (guitars), John [Campbell] (bass) and Randy have layered onto the basic drum mix – you can feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It’s like feeling the ground as a train approaches, you can tell how massive it is – and its coming fast. It’s surreal at times – I think everyone involved knows we have a monster on our hands.”
