METALLICA have launched their official website for their documentary film, Some Kind of Monster. The movie has already been exhibited at major film festivals and is set for a theatrical release in New York City and San Francisco on July 9th. Some Kind of Monster was self-financed by the band and documents the band during the time Jason Newsted quits METALLICA up until their first few shows in support of St. Anger.
