Mike Patton (FANTOMAS/TOMAHAWK/ex-FAITH NO MORE) has been confirmed to perform a one-off show with New Jersey’s DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN as a part of Patton’s Ipecac Records New Year’s Festival. The two camps recently spawned Irony is a Dead Scene, an EP uniting the two rather extreme and eccentric music makers. This will be the first and, reportedly, only Patton/DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN performance. The fest will take place on December 30th and 31st at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco with Patton/DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN performing on the second night.

Other bands scheduled to perform include MALDOROR (Patton and MERZBOW), MONDO GENERATOR (featuring Nick Oliveri of QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE), MELVINS, ISIS, CAPTURED BY ROBOTS, DÄLEK, and PINK ANVIL (featuring Paul Barker of MINISTRY).
