Maryland’s MISERY INDEX are back in their hometown having finished recording their debut album for Nuclear Blast Records entitled, Retaliate. The band spent the past three weeks recording and mixing at Wild Studio in Quebec with KATAKLYSM guitarist, Jean-Francois Dagenais, handling production duties. The album just needs to be mastered and the layout finalized.

The track “Demand the Impossible” also features KATAKLYSM vocalist, Maurizio Iacon, on backup vocals. Iacon commented, “it was an honor for me to help out those boys, especially on that track because its my favorite so thank you guys! The album crushes and Jean-Francois did an incredible job on the sound!”
