NAPALM DEATH bassist, Shane Embury, has reported steady progress on the band’s upcoming “covers” album, Leaders Not Followers 2. The album, which will be the second release via the band’s own FETO label, contains a total of 19 tracks, all of which have been finished recording sans some vocals.

Embury also noted that one time NAPALM DEATH bassist, Jim Whiteley, who appeared on the B-side of Scum, had joined the band in the studio a couple of weekends ago:

“We decided to get him into the studio to record a couple of tracks on the album and he kindly obliged, laying down some pretty ferocious stuff on our covers of DISCHARGE’s “War’s no Fairytale” and ANTI-CIMEX’s “Game of the Assholes.” So well done there mate - plenty of cider coming your way!!!”

No release date has yet been set, but stay tuned for more details including the full tracklist.
