In a recent conversation with DigitalMetal.com, NONEXIST guitarist Johan Reinholdz (who also tweedles the six-string in ANDROMEDA) revealed the following details on NONEXIST’s forthcoming new album:

“The new songs are slower, heavier and a bit more melodic. There were some keyboards on Deus Deceptor, but on the new one there’s gonna be more, both chords and melodies. Another differance is that there are less odd-time signature grooves. We’ll start recording sometime this year.”

In other news, drummer Matte Modin (DEFLESHED/DARK FUNERAL) will no longer be a part of NONEXIST. The band are currently looking for a suitable replacement to play on the album.
