MUNICIPAL WASTE have announced that THE ACCÜSED will not be taking part in the Waste the World Tour 2009 as their singer Brad Mowen has to have emergency surgery. Minneapolis’ OFF WITH THEIR HEADS will be stepping in on the tour on November 18th through December 2nd and will be providing direct support for MUNICIPAL WASTE.
Singer Tony Foresta had the following to say about the line-up change for the tour, “We’re pretty bummed about THE ACCÜSED canceling I really hope Brad gets better. But now THE WASTE is really excited to announce our newest addition to our North American tour, OFF WITH THEIR HEADS. These guys are one of my personal favorites and I feel are one of the best punk bands to come out of the states for a long while. We’ve been listening to these guys in THE WASTE van for some time and we are really glad they agreed to ‘stick out like a sore thumb’ on our metal tour. It should be a lot of fun! Check them out here… http://www.myspace.com/offwiththeirheads”
Support on the North American leg of the tour will come from GOATWHORE (11/06-11/16), OFF WITH THEIR HEADS (11/18-12/02), BRUTAL TRUTH (12/4-12/11), and PHOBIA and CAULDRON on all dates.
