Norway’s progressive metallers SPIRAL ARCHITECT have announced that their singer, Øyvind Hægeland, has officially joined ARCTURUS, replacing the recently departed Garm (a.k.a. Trickster G., G.) of ULVER as previously reported here.

While ARCTURUS was never able to tour in the past due to Garm’s displeasure for performing live, the band no longer have that restriction and are currently rehearsing for some upcoming live shows (as well as a new album/EP).

In related news, SPIRAL ARCHITECT/BORKNAGAR drummer, Asgeir Mickelson, will be temporarily filling in for TESTAMENT drummer Jon Allen for TESTAMENT’s upcoming European tour. “Personal family issues” have been cited as Allen’s reason for not being able to join the band on tour.
