THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER have just returned from their tour with ARCH ENEMY and HATE ETERNAL and are in search of a new vocalist. Drummer Cory Grady posted the following message on the band’s official website:

“We’re currently looking for a new vocalist to fill Trevor [Strnad]’s shoes…basically what we want anyone interested to do is download the song [’Funeral Thirst’] and record two versions with your vocals in the mix. On one version you would sing the song as it appears on Unhallowed with the correct lyrics, and on the other you would have total creative control over. Your own lyrics and vocal patterns. As for recording over the mp3, email me at blooddawn@hotmail.com for suggestions on how to record and send back anything you want to submit.

“Also, we’ll take mp3s. You can instant message me (Cory) on the screenname ‘grind is grind’ and send me any recordings you make. The sooner we find a vocalist the better. If we like you, of course we’ll want to meet up and practice and all of those things. Tell your friends!”
