Following the passing of friend and bandmate, Jeremy Michael Ward, THE MARS VOLTA have cancelled their participation on the second leg of the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS US tour, according to the offcial THE MARS VOLTA community. The band will instead schedule a set of headlining shows to be announced in July.

In other news, the band’s forthcoming Universal Music debut, De-Loused in the Comatorium, is set to drop on June 24th. Here is the complete album tracklisting:
