TYPE O NEGATIVE are wrapping up their current tour with LACUNA COIL in support of their latest album, Life Is Killing Me. Drummer Johnny Kelly provided the following tour update via the band’s official website:
“We’re getting closer to home. We’re in DC today. Some of us went to see Billy Idol at the 9:30 Club last night. I never saw him before so that was fun.
“I will be sleeping in my own bed on Wednesday night and I’m definitely looking forward to that. We’re in the home stretch now. I can’t believe that the tour is just about over. It’s been a great run for the most part. Only five shows left. It’s been the best and worst of times. We’ve had some pretty good meltdowns out here yet I’ve never laughed so much.
“We’re going to miss LACUNA COIL very much. They have been so much fun to work with. They are family. They’re on to bigger and better things and it was a pleasure to have worked with them.
“The biggest star of this tour though, has to be the fans. I still can’t get over how supportive everyone has been. You have been there for us every night and that’s incredible. Thanks again.”
