Victory Records is proud to announce the signing of Montreal, Quebec’s most aggressive metalcore band, A PERFECT MURDER. Formed in 2000 from the ashes of DOWNFALL OF MAN and A DEATH FOR EVERY SIN, A PERFECT MURDER delves deep into the annals of classic metal for inspiration, drawing from METALLICA, TESTAMENT and PANTERA as well as groove-based southern legends CROWBAR and DOWN, flawlessly combining metal, rock, hardcore and thrash to incite complete mosh pit mayhem and unity in their audience at the same time. Their three-guitar attack is ballsy to say the least, and vocalist Frank Pellerin emits a low, screamed growl that is considered the best on the Canadian hardcore scene.

A PERFECT MURDER wasted little time after their formation, recording the EP, Blood Covered Words, and grabbing the attention of fans and press in Canada first, and shortly thereafter in the U.S. They signed to the Ontario-based Goodfellow Records and soon released Cease To Suffer which greatly accelerated the buzz on the band.
