Pittsburgh’s ZAO have announced that they will be headling a 2005 tour with FEAR BEFORE THE MARCH OF FLAMES, THE AGONY SCENE, and IF HOPE DIES. ZAO guitarist/vocalist Scott Mellinger said this about the upcoming tour, “This has been the smoothest touring period in our history. In the past we’ve had documented problems with our line-ups, that resulted in problems playing shows. I can honestly say at this time after a year of non-stop shows in the U.S. and Europe, everyone here is just as energized to play this tour as we were a year ago to keep playing shows.”
In other news, the band recently completed two new tracks, AC/DC’s “For Those About To Rock” and new song “Romance Of The Great South,” for the Japanese version of Funeral of God.
